About Dee
![]()
Dee has been very instrumental in the formation of Rampage with Mike Anthony and Richie P back in 1990. Dee is more commonly referred to as Rampage’s Manager and is responsible for the management and development of the business.
Dee was born and brought up in South London where he attended the same school as industry icons such as Jools Holland, Mickey D and Mistri. He attended The University of Hertfordshire (Hatfield Polytechnic), where he graduated with a BSc in Applied Chemistry.
Having graduated, Dee then joined a financial services company and was responsible for setting up branches in London and Northampton, before his career took an unexpected turn into club promotions.
Dee has always had a great love for music and has fond memories of raving at events hosted by the likes of Steve Walsh and Rapattack. This therefore gave him an opportunity to combine two things he enjoys.
Dee and Rampage’s blue print was to provide quality urban events, and to push the boundaries that an urban audience was use to. Rampage has achieved vast success being the first black urban promoters to hire the Equinox in Leicester Square, as well as the Ministry of Sound on a Saturday night and the original pioneers of the US R&B club PA format.
In 2001 Dee became Secretary of the British Association of Sound Systems (BASS) and a member of its executive. BASS is responsible for the management and governance of all the sound systems that appear at the Notting Hill Carnival.
Dee believes that Rampage’s success has been due to giving the people what is vital and retaining a professional attitude in what they do and most importantly because they enjoy their work!
About Legz
![]()
I have been playing music since 1991 mainly at friend’s parties and the odd venue now and again. I bought my first pair of decks at 15 and practiced on them whenever I had the time making tapes for da man dem or just blazin out noise in my mum’s house.
I am fortunate enough that my parents are very supportive and when it came time for me to move up in the music industry I decided to make a real go of it and go all out to play in the clubs that I raved in at the time. I quit the daytime job that I did not like in order to concentrate on music. I made myself known by hitting the west end clubs every week. Through doing this I joined the Mistri crew and learned a great deal from them for just over a year, playing all over London and meeting people.
I met the members of Rampage at the beginning of 2002 as we played at the same club every Friday (Cameos). I joined them in May of that year and have played music all over the world as a member of Rampage. Before now you would have never seen me touch a mike. Since joining Rampage man has had to step up quite a few gears, MC and DJ at the same time, host beach parties in Ayia Napa and so on. So to any up and coming Djs who are reading this my advice is to stick at what you are doing and make sure you keep meeting people when you rave!
About D’Nyce
![]()
Not since Spinderella put the flavour in Salt ‘n’ Pepa during rap’s reign in the 80′s has there been such frenzy over women taking charge of the turntables.
Why is it when people think DJ they see a guy? There is absolutely no reason physical or mental why either guys or women should be better at it! Unfortunately, there are still those that think a female DJ is a novelty. It’s more important to be good at what you do, and not to rely on recognition because you are woman.
When D’Nyce hit the scene she became a prime mover on the urban music scene that has influenced her life so heavily and the lives of so many others on the same scene.
Her early musical experiences were ‘The Jackson Five, Slave, Cameo, Aswad, Jean Adebambo (rip), Carol Thompson, Errol Dunkley, Burning Spear alongside Duran Duran, Haircut 100 and Imagination. You may say this is extremely diverse but being one of the youngest in a family of five (D’Nyce being the only girl) opened up many musical doors. The first record that she bought as a youngster while still at school was ‘Walking the line by Central Line’ way back in the 1980′s and she has been collecting/ buying music ever since.
By 2000 D’Nyce had played major nights at: Café de Paris, Cobden club, Jus Dancin’, Raw, SoundShaft, The London Metropol Hotel (International Women’s Month), The MOBO awards (2000, 2001) and the Met Bar (London Fashion Week 1999), supporting Phoebe One on tour with Redman & Method Man on their UK tour 2005 (7,000 people) to name a few.
Things got interesting after a chance meeting where D’Nyce was given her first show on Street FM, a small NW London community radio station. Considering she had never attempted radio before she impressed them so much that within a month she gained her second show and her name grew within her own local community.
A holiday to Cyprus, Ayia Napa brought a surprise twist of fate which opened a few doors for this female DJ, “it was in this year that I met Mike Anthony and Treble T from Rampage. It so happens that Rampage were looking for a female DJ to bring into the family and I was that DJ.
Since joining Rampage, D’Nyce has DJ’d all over the UK and internationally including the London Nottinghill Carnival. D’Nyce has DJ’d for and with the likes of Ms Dynamite, Sean Paul, Buju Banton, Baby Cham, Nathan, Fish Go Deep, Stone Love sound system, Masterstepz, Robbo Ranks, Mos Def, Dizzee Rascal, K2 family, Crazy Titch, Wayne Wonder, Rayvon, Mims, Alison Hinds, Collie Budz, Swizz Beats, Yummy Bingham, Gentleman, Crazy Cousins, Paleface, Jazmine Sullivan, Lloyd, Busy Signal, Shaggy, Mims, Estelle, to name a few.
Currently D’Nyce has two radio shows on Bang radio 103.6 fm or www.bangradio.fm: Soul-D-Out Mondays 7pm-9pm and The Wednesday Jump-off 7pm-9pm specialising in signed and unsigned soul artists from around the world. D’Nyce has a passion for radio and is something that she is actively pursuing.

About Treble T
![]()
Born in St George’s hospital Tooting, Treble T had an early start in the music business. Starting a sound system whilst still at school that is still going today (Strictly bizznizz).
First cutting his teeth as a DJ in house parties and pirate radio then being introduced to the making of music by well renowned pop producer Grant Cunliffe (Billy Bragg, The Smiths, Morrissey). Early remix and production credits include Chaka Demus and Pliers, Alton Ellis and contributing to Japanese movie soundtracks.
After several years on the circuit he then bumped into old friend Mike Anthony and partner Dee who were already successfully running fledgling DJ outfit Rampage.
This coming together resulted in T being asked to contribute production to the Rampage Drum and Bass album, Priority One (A+M Records) Which spawned a top forty hit “The Monkeys” After such a positive start it was inevitable that the relationship would grow, already being a “hot dj” Treble T fully joined Rampage shortly afterwards.
With many production credits and remix’s to his name T is also an integral part of the DJ team who along with D Nyce, Legz and Mike Anthony form the DJing force of Rampage.
As well as being a trained studio engineer and record producer Treble Tee is an experienced radio presenter and co-presented Rampage on your Radio, the weekly urban music slot on BBC London 94.9 alongside Mike Anthony and D’Nyce.
A long list of the guests interviewed on the show include Beenie man, Sisqo, Wyclef, Faith Evans, Sean Paul and a one in a million interview with Aaliyah.
The BBC London show was syndicated to Radio Napa 90.9 in Cyprus and during the summer season Rampage Broadcast two shows a week to Cyprus.
Treble T launched the BBC’s new national black music station 1xtra with Mike Anthony and K.C. A milestone in black music. Catch T and Mike every weekday on their radio show from 11am till 2pm.
Now a well seasoned club DJ, Tee has played to audiences in excess of ten thousand people as far a field as Dubai, Miami, Martinique, Atlanta and Amsterdam. And of course all over the U.K. Djing in live gigs such as Usher, Black Rob, Foxy Brown, S.W.V., Dru Hill, Beenie man and K.Ci and Jo Jo plus club dates such as the Blues and soul (Ms Dynamite) Twice as nice and Shake it up national tours.
Well used to the rigours of life on the road after helping to maintain a pivotal residency at the then S.W.1 club (Pasha) for Four years and helping to make two new club brands successful (Two rooms of Funk and Heart n Soul).
Of note Mike and T still argue over which of them was responsible for the introduction of Reggae music to the raving resort of Ayia Napa such was the influence of the twice weekly Rampage residency they had on the Mediterranean island.
Further musical milestones for T include co-producing the seminal underground garage classic “Melody” with Masterstepz, MC Charlie Brown’s only record “They call me” remixing Dru Hill and producing an L.P’s worth of material with Liford of Artful Dodger fame.
Quoted for saying that “he feels he’s only just come of age in the music business” Treble T will certainly be pushing himself and Rampage ever further into the spotlight with the odd Television appearance in documentaries and as a music business pundit.
And we wonder about his final ambition which is to put a record in the top ten of the national charts, it looks like it’s nearly time.
